Site manager for asphalting works
„In 2014 I graduated from Tallinn University of Applied Sciences with a degree in road construction engineering. Even before finishing my studies I joined the Tallinna Teede AS team, starting in the supervision department, where I worked for a total of three years." I then moved on to road surface restoration and maintenance repair, working as an asphalt team leader, managing the daily work process and the team. In 2025 I became a site manager for asphalting works, where my main responsibilities are planning and carrying out maintenance repair of Tallinn's road surfaces. In addition to Tallinn's maintenance repair I have been able to do a variety of work in road surface restoration as well as manage smaller projects from start to finish. In communicating with the client and the supervision, the goal has always been to achieve the best possible result that satisfies all parties. Over the years I have gained valuable experience in different positions, which has helped me build a broad network of knowledge and contacts. This has given me confidence in my work and the opportunity to keep developing in my field. Throughout my journey, Tallinna Teede AS has been a strong support – the company has offered development opportunities, sent me to trainings and encouraged me to take on new challenges. I feel that I belong to a strong and supportive team and I highly value all the colleagues who have been part of my journey. Head of the Road Maintenance Department
„I come from Tallinn and road construction has been my calling for several generations. I graduated from Tallinn University of Applied Sciences in road construction, and my entire working life has been connected with building, maintaining and managing roads. I started my career in 1994 at the Tallinn Road Administration as a foreman, responsible for organising asphalting and paving works in the city of Tallinn, including the Old Town. In 1996 I became head of District I, responsible for organising maintenance repair for half of the city of Tallinn and managing the daily work. In 2000 I continued as a leading specialist in the production division, where my duties already covered planning and coordinating maintenance repair for the entire city of Tallinn. Since 2002 I have led the road maintenance division at Tallinna Teede AS, today known as the road maintenance department. My area of responsibility includes Tallinn's maintenance repair, smaller road maintenance works around the capital, restoring utility trenches for various companies and smaller road repairs for housing associations. Over the years I have gained valuable experience in the practical organisation of works, team management and planning large-scale works. I consider consistency, a sense of responsibility and well-done work to be the most important. I am characterised by the proverb: "Row slowly and you will go far." I believe that persistence and determination achieve the best results."
